Electromechanical Manager – Hosting Data Center

Position Summary:
The Electromechanical Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, upgrades, and monitoring of all electromechanical systems supporting the data center’s operations. The role ensures maximum availability of electrical, cooling, power backup, fire suppression, and mechanical systems—while maintaining safety, compliance with standards, and rapid response to critical failures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing management of electromechanical systems, including:
- Electrical systems – high and low voltage panels
- Backup systems – UPS, generators
- Cooling systems – precision cooling (CRAC, DX, Chillers)
- Water systems, fire suppression systems (gas suppression, sprinklers), building management systems
- Preventive and planned maintenance according to procedures and standards
- Fault analysis and immediate troubleshooting of breakdowns
- Operation and monitoring of Building Management Systems (BMS) and environmental monitoring systems
- Management of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants in the fields of electricity, cooling, and maintenance
- Writing procedures, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Daily coordination with infrastructure, IT, and information security teams
- Participation in infrastructure expansion and new system implementation projects
- Responsibility for worker safety, conducting training, and investigating equipment failures
Requirements:
- Education: Certified Practical Engineer or Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC systems – required
- Certified Electrician License (Certified/Chief Electrician) – required
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing electromechanical systems in a critical infrastructure environment – preference for data centers, hospitals, defense facilities, or industrial process facilities
- Proven experience with UPS systems, generators, power panels, precision cooling, and building management systems
- Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., Uptime Tier, ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO)
- Certifications in safety, electrical systems, or HVAC – an advantage
- Strong technical English – required
